Varicose Vein Frequently Asked Questions

Why did my spider veins come back after having them treated before?

One of the most common mistakes made by medical providers in the past was treating a patch of spider veins without looking more closely at the rest of the vein system. We now understand that if there are larger veins (not always obvious to the naked eye) that are back flowing into the area of spider veins, then treatment of the larger veins is critical to success. Additional types of treatment may be required to address these larger vessels.
